Long COVID Awareness Campaign

The World Health Network (WHN) recognizes Long COVID as a critical crisis resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. WHN is proud to announce the launch of a new Long COVID Awareness campaign. The goals of this campaign are to:

• shed light onto the crisis of Long COVID 
• educate communities about the long term and varied impacts of Long COVID and infection prevention,
• share valuable insights and lived experiences from the Long COVID community,
• dispel myths surrounding this condition, 
• empower individuals with knowledge and resources to navigate the challenges of Long COVID,
• to foster a supportive environment for those affected,
• to advocate for the need for Long COVID treatment, research, and advocacy.

 We will meet these goals through messaging, education and support services, including:

• WHN Broadcast interviews with Long Haulers,
• social media posts, 
• sharing Long COVID community action opportunities through WHN’s Weekly Action Email, 
• recognizing and amplifying Long COVID work being done by individuals and organizations
• promoting collaboration and allyship among individuals and organizations,
• illustrating how this is not a niche issue or a problem specific to any one subset of the population,
• openness to additional actions to build awareness.

Long COVID can affect anyone who becomes or has been infected. Join us as we address this crisis together!
