We build trust by saying the truth.

We oppose those who diminish the value of life, sacrifice our loved ones though lack of caring, exploit others or their injury for their own benefit, promote falsehood, misinform out of confusion, intentionally disinform, or distract from what is important.

We oppose poor or coopted science, wrong assumptions, false claims and wishful thinking.

We empower those who join in our efforts in teams of collaboration. Everyone who aspires to make the world a better place can join us, using their unique talents, abilities and knowledge.

We value each individual’s abilities, knowledge and contributions to society and to others individually in the connected tapestry of humanity.

Who We Are

We are a multidisciplinary global network of experts created as a people’s task force. Our mission is to end the spread of COVID-19 and other preventable harms by mobilizing science and compassion into action, advising policymakers and empowering communities with practical strategies for public health and wellbeing.

The world is in crisis. The COVID-19 virus and its variants continue to threaten lives and disrupt societies. Defeating this threat requires a focused, science-informed, and human-centered approach.

Our team includes experts in pandemics, infectious disease, virology, aerosol and environmental science, health care, mental health, risk communications, science education, business, and law, as well as mathematics, physics, communications strategy, and community organization.

We are a citizens’ task force. We share science and counter disinformation. We give you with the tools you need to make the best choices to keep you, your family, and your community safe.

What We Believe

We believe we can stop the virus and build a safer and better future. In order to do so communities and nations must take actions informed by science to prevent transmission, and provide community care and support.
