Act Division

The Act Division engages and empowers community members and grassroots organizations to promote health and safety. This division focuses on community action, advocacy, and organizing collective response to individual and community needs. The teams of the Act Division respond to public health issues, trends, and policies. One notable aspect of this work is addressing inadequate institutional responses and offering solutions to public health threats (e.g. COVID-19, Avian Influenza, Measles, MPOX, etc.). 

The Act Division’s gateway meeting is the Community Action Zoom on Fridays at 3:00PM ET. 

Our Act teams include Community Action Team, Campaign Team, Infection Prevention Team, Weekly Action Team, German Team, and Legal Team.
