The World Health Network invites you to a special WHN Town Hall: Wednesday, August 19th, from 1–2pm EDT, featuring Gerardo (Jerry) Lopez, Associate Professor and Extension specialist focusing on STEM, food safety, and environmental microbiology in the School of Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences at the University of Arizona.
Prof. Lopez performs research on the protozoan parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis in agricultural waters and fresh produce to understand potential sources of Cyclospora contamination and prevent Cyclosporiasis infections.
